IT Project Coordinator

A project coordinator oversees the stages of a project, supporting the project manager from planning to QA tasks.

As an IT Project Coordinator, you will support the overall project management process by handling specific tasks and phases of a project, ensuring its smooth execution from start to finish. This includes responsibilities such as drafting and managing requirements documentation, coordinating resources, and overseeing quality assurance processes, all while maintaining communication with stakeholders. Working closely with the project manager, you will assist in tracking progress, managing timelines, and addressing any challenges that arise to help keep the project on track and within scope. You’ll bring strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills to support the delivery of prioritized IT efforts in a timely manner while delivering expected business value
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
  • Assists in making project tasks more manageable and trackable
  • Work with Directors and Project Managers to define requirements, scope, and objectives
  • Participates in project meetings and assists project manager with notes, action items, etc
  • Analyze risks and opportunities
  • Monitor project progress and escalate any issues that arise
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers
  • Use tools to monitor project task assignments and status
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reporting
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met by conducting quality assurance tests
  • Follow standards and processes developed by Orange IT PMO
