Project Coordinator – IT

In-Office | North Atlanta, GA

Monitors project schedules, organizes stakeholder meetings, and ensures project tasks and deadlines are met in a timely manner.

Project coordinators will work on more than one aspect of a project. Working alongside a project manager, project coordinators are responsible for overseeing specific pieces of a larger project. Project coordinators will work on more than one project at a time.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
  • Assists in making projects tasks more manageable and trackable
  • Work with Directors and Project Managers to define requirements, scope, and objectives
  • Participates in project meetings and assists project manager with notes, action items, etc
  • Analyze risks and opportunities
  • Monitor project progress and escalate any issues that arise
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers
  • Use tools to monitor project task assignments and status
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reporting
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
  • Follow standards and processes developed by Orange IT PMO
